About Me

i have been a motorcycle mechanic for 27 years, 4 of those i taught mechanics at a college in northern alberta, i'm on my 3rd female bassethound first was Pebbles she lived to be 15 before cancer got her. she was famous around the drag racing world and in the oil industry as she went everwhere with me in the winters and summers for most of her life.and she was a rescue dog. my second one was daisy she was an amazing little hound went everywhere with me as well but sadly when she was 7 she got hit by a car out in front of my house and she was a rescue as well. the little bonehead i have now isPixie and she is a rescue as well and this little girl is a mutant she is 5 years old.solid muscle now a completely different dog then when i got her 3 years ago.her and my other dog wrestle and tear the house up 6 hours a day they go for at the very least a 2 mile run everyday and she has no fear of anything now. she is like a different dog now.she weighs 65 lbs now and like i said and when i picked her up at 2.5 years old she weighed just over 20 lbs and was terrified of her own shadow. she was abused so much it made me sick. i almost went back to beat these people the same way had been. but she has a good home now as long as i can give it too her. my bassets have made my life richer and they have taught  me so much patience its amazing. i'm not the same person i was before i got Pebbles. they frustrate you drive you crazy but they also make me laugh everyday and thats worth it by itself
